Dr. Sitla Prasad Pathak is one of the most experienced neurologists in the nation having over 16 years of practice experience.
He is at present an Attending Consultant in Neurology at the Max Super Specialty Hospital, Vaishali, Ghaziabad. Earlier he had practiced in nationally renowned hospitals like Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi.
Dr. Sitla completed his MBBS in 2010 and MD Internal Medicine in 2013 from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung Hospital.
He had his training at Army Hospital (R&R) for three years, in Acute Stroke Management, Epilepsy, DBS for Parkinson’s, and Electrophysiology.
Dr. Sitla has treated 500 plus cases of Acute Ischemic Stroke with r-tpa Thrombolysis. His areas of focus are Stroke and Interventional Neurology, Epilepsy, Movement Disorder, Neuro Electrophysiology and Neuromuscular Diseases.
Dr. Sitla has done procedures such as Carotid Endarterectomy, Cerebral Angioplasty, Brain Aneurysm Treatment, and Endovascular Coiling.
He is a member of many national societies of India; including, IAN, ISA, IEA, and MDSI.
These achievements include 3rd rank in the Indian Academy of Neurology Summer School in 2015 in Dr. Pathak.
His work has appeared in handbooks, encyclopedias, and various national and international journals.
