Qualification and Experience

Dr. Sitla Prasad Pathak is a renowned Neurologist practicing for more than 16 years. Currently, Dr. Sitla is working as an Attending Consultant in Neurology at Max Super Specialty Hospital in Vaishali, Ghaziabad. Before this, he has worked for many reputable hospitals including Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. In 2010, he earned his MBBS degree from the Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Later after two years in 2013,  he achieved MD Internal Medicine from the Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. For three years, he received comprehensive training at Army Hospital (R&R) in Acute Stroke Management, Epilepsy Management, DBS for Parkinson's Disease patients, and Electrophysiology. Apart from his passion for Acute Stroke Management, he is also interested in Rehabilitation in these cases. He has over 500 cases of Acute Ischemic Stroke r-tpa Thrombolysis under his credit. His special interests include Stroke & Interventional neurology, Epilepsy, Movement Disorder, Neuro Electrophysiology, Neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Sitla holds expertise in procedures like Carotid Endarterectomy, Cerebral Angioplasty, Cerebral or Brain Aneurysm Treatment, and Endovascular Coiling. As quite a reputable personality, Dr. Sitla Prasad Pathak is also an active member of various national societies & associations such as the Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN), the Indian Stroke Association (ISA), the Indian Epilepsy Association (IEA), and the Movement Disorders Society of India (MDSI). 

Contribution to Medical Science 

Dr. Sitla Prasad Pathak has been awarded for securing 3rd Rank in the Indian Academy of Neurology Summer School, in 2015. Dr. Pathak's work has been published and presented in a variety of national and international journals and forums. He has worked in prestigious Delhi facilities such as Safdarjung Hospital and Army Hospital (R&R). Apart from his passion for Acute Stroke Management, he is also interested in Rehabilitation in these instances. Some of his famous research & publications include-
