Qualification and Experience

Dr. Amit Arora has more than 15 years of experience as a consultant neurologist. Between 1998 and 2002 he went onto completed his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. Between 2005 and 2008, Dr. Amit completed his MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Internal Medicine from the same hospital. Between 2010 and 2013, he went onto complete his DM (Doctorate of Medicine) from the SMS Medical College, Jaipur, India. In 2014, Dr. Amit completed his Clinical Fellowship in Epilepsy from the Centre of Excellence in Epilepsy, AIIMS, India.

Dr. Amit Arora has a keen interest in epilepsy which is inclusive of drug-refractory seizures. He is well equipped in clinical investigation skills and diagnostic workup with recent curation processes, neuroradiological exposure, electrophysiological training in EEG (conventional, video, ambulatory), nerve conduction studies, EMG and evoked potentials, extensive stroke workup, and management of seizures. At present, he is working with the Aster DM Healthcare, Al MuTeena, UAE. Before joining the hospital, Dr. Amit clinically practised headaches, dementia, and epilepsy.
