Dr. S. Ramalakshmi is a nephrologist in Chennai. She has an overall clinical experience of more than 15 years. She is currently providing her services at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre No.1 Ramachandra Nagar, Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu as Senior Consultant, Nephrology. After completing the basic medical education from Thanjavur Medical College, she completed AB (Internal Medicine), and AB(Nephrology). She is the recipient of various awards during her academic years such as College first & Distinction in Biochemistry at Thanjavur Medical College, 1989, Best Resident of the year Annual I. Arthur Mirsky award- Internal Medicine University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. 2001, First Prize in a poster presentation at Annual research day at Univ of Pittsburgh 2003, First prize in Free paper presentation at XXV Annual Conference of ISNSC Feb 2005, and Certificate of Merit for Meritorious research publications of SRU 2011.
