Dr. Selen Yurdakul

• Dr. Selen Yurdakul is an interventional cardiologist in Turkey and has been in practice for over 14 years. She is interested in metabolic balance, healthy obesity reduction, echocardiography, and congestive heart failure as well as heart muscle dysfunction.
• Kadikoy Anatolian High School graduate of 1994, between the years 1994 and 2000 Dr.Yurdakul graduated from Istanbul University with an MD degree. She had further training in Cardiology at the Istanbul University between 2001 and 2006. She has been able to earn herself promotions in the academic ladder; in 2014 she was promoted to Associate Professor while in 2019, she was promoted to Professor of Cardiology.
• Dr. Yurdakul worked as a cardiologist in a training and research hospital in Istanbul and Şişli State Hospital from 2006 to 2009. Since 2009 continued my work as Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at FN Hospital. Between 2016 and 2018, she was also the head of the Cardiac Imaging Team for the Turkish Cardiology Association.
• Some of the memberships include The Turkish Cardiology Association, The Turkish Medical Council, and The European Cardiology Association. She has also independently written about 100 scientific papers that have been featured in different national and international medical journals.
