Qualification and Experience

With more than 21 years of experience in clinical cardiology, Dr. Rishi is currently working as Chairman-Cardiology & Director-Clinic Services at the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, India. He completed his MBBS in 1989 from King Georges Medical College. Later on, he completed his MD in medicine and DM in cardiology from Sanjay Gandhi Int. of Medical Sciences in 1993 and 1995, respectively. He passed his MNAMS in cardiology in 1996. Prior to the Asian Institute, he was associated with Escorts hospital and QRG central hospital. 

Contribution to medical science

In 1993, Dr. Rishi was awarded NN Gupta Gold Medalist. He was also awarded the Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He had been the Vice-President of the Indian Medical Association, Faridabad. Dr. Rishi has performed more than 10000 interventional procedures. He was given Distinguished Service Award by Fortis Escorts, Faridabad. He has a special interest in complex angioplasty such as Left Main Stenting, Chronic Total Occlusion, and Post Bypass SVG Interventions. He is also interested in Congenital Heart defect closures, Valve Dilation, and peripheral vascular interventions. He has a fellowship of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), USA.
