In 1990 he became the Assistant Professor and in 1995, he becomes Professor. Dr. Ramesh has performed over 7000 Balloon Mitral Valvotomies, 500 Device closures for Atrial Septal defect and more than 4000 angioplasties. Various research papers of Dr. Ramesh are published in indexed journals. For his presentation on “Estimation of PA pressure by VSD Gradient – Hemodynamic Doppler Correlation”, he was awarded the best paper award.
