• Dr. Prof. Dursun Aras graduated in 1996 from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
• He completed his specialization in 2001 at Ankara High Specialization Training and Research Hospital became a Cardiology Specialist and continued his work at that hospital.
• He became an associate professor in 2006 and a professor in 2012.
• He served as an observer in the Arrhythmia and Ablation at Maastricht University in the Netherlands in 2005.
• He served as the Chairman of the Arrhythmia Working Group of the Turkish Cardiology Association between 2016-2018.
