Dr. Doan Duc Dung

• Dr Doan Duc Dung is an experienced interventional cardiologist with extensive expertise in advanced cardiac procedures.
• He has received specialised training in cardiology, including echocardiography and cardiac electrophysiology, and is proficient in emergency cardiac interventions such as electrical cardioversion, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemaker placement.
• Dr Dung has performed thousands of complex cardiac procedures, including coronary interventions, interventions for congenital heart diseases (such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, and patent ductus arteriosus), peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker implantations, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVI).
• Currently, he serves as the Director of the Cardiology Centre at Vinmec Times City International General Hospital and also holds the position of Head of the Interventional Cardiology Department.
• In addition, he chairs the Cardiology Subcommittee of the Vietnam 3D Medical Society, serves as Vice Chairman of the Cardiology – Thoracic Speciality Council at Vinmec System, and works as a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Interventional Cardiology at VinUni University and Hanoi Medical University.
