Dr. Ghosh completed his MBBS in 1984 from Burdwan University in West Bengal. He completed his diploma in Cardiology in 1987 and also completed his post-graduation in 1990 from Calcutta University. In 2010, from Edinburg and London, Dr. Ghosh was also awarded the Fellow of Royal College of Physicians. He has a huge experience of working at reputed hospitals both in India and the UK.
