Prof. Arnon Nagler, M.D., M.Sc., is a globally renowned haematology and bone marrow transplantation expert with over 35 years of experience.
He served as Director of Haematology and BMT at Sheba Medical Centre and is a Professor of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
A pioneer in reduced-intensity allogeneic transplants, he established Israel's first public cord blood bank and performed its first cord blood transplants.

Dr Arnon Nagler is the president of the Hemato-Oncology Center, the director of bone marrow transplantation and the cord blood bank at Sheba Medical Center, and the professor of medicine at Tel Aviv University.
He has held key leadership roles in the EBMT, including Chair of the ALWP (since 2014), Co-Chair of the Scientific Council (since 2016), and Vice-Chair of the ALWP (2018–2022), leading major subcommittees on alternative donors, reduced-intensity conditioning, and molecular markers.
A pioneer in non-myeloablative and reduced-intensity allogeneic transplantations (Blood, 1998), he has significantly advanced transplant medicine for both malignant and non-malignant diseases.
He serves on editorial boards of major journals and as Section Editor for Leukaemia, and was appointed Guest Professor at Zhejiang University, China, in 2023.
