- Dr. Hubert Cyril Lourdes, born in 1994 in Kerala, embarked on a remarkable academic journey that laid the foundation for his diverse and accomplished career in healthcare.
- He commenced his studies at Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in Chennai, India, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from April 2011 to March 2017. Driven by a passion for both medicine and administration, he pursued an M.B.A. in Hospital Administration at Madras University in Chennai, graduating between June 2018 and May 2020.
- In his pursuit of a broader perspective, Dr. Hubert obtained a Diploma in Disaster Management & Mitigation from Indira Gandhi National Open University in Delhi, India, from April 2018 to October 2018. Furthering his commitment to continuous improvement, he completed a Fellowship in Clinical Management of VTE in Surgical Critical Care from the American College of Chest Physicians in Chennai, spanning December 2020 to December 2021.
- Beyond the realm of medicine, Dr. Hubert diversified his expertise with a Diploma in Forensic Audit and Fraud Analysis at the International Forensic Science Institute in Pune, India, completing the program from April 2017 to October 2017.
- His dedication to excellence extended into postgraduate studies, as he pursued an M.S. in General Surgery at Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research (BIHER) in Chennai, India, from June 2020 to June 2023. Simultaneously, he honed his surgical skills, earning certification in Essential Laparoscopic Surgery (FIAGES) from the Indian Association of Gastro & Endoscopic Surgery.
- Transitioning seamlessly into his professional career, Dr. Hubert Cyril Lourdes has been serving as the Director of Health & Allied Sciences at MaryBernadette Private Limited in Chennai, India, since November 2018. Concurrently, he holds the position of Clinical Lead in Laparoscopic & General Surgery at Oscar Superspeciality Hospital & Trauma Centre in Haryana, India, where he also contributes as a Consultant Aesthetic Surgeon.
- From March 2017 to April 2023, Dr. Hubert made significant contributions as a Telemedicine Consultant at EM Healthcare in Chennai. In April 2021, he expanded his impact as a Campus Medical Ambassador - India for the United Nations Organization in Binjhua, India.
- Continuing his dedication to healthcare, Dr. Hubert commenced a role as Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Dr Kumar’s Multispecialty Hospital in Chennai in 2023, showcasing his commitment to diverse medical specialties. Throughout these roles, Dr. Hubert has demonstrated his expertise and versatility in the healthcare industry.
