Dr. David Mishali is the Head of the Pediatric & Congenital Cardiothoracic Surgery Department.
He graduated in medicine from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, Jerusalem, and specialised in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Rabin Medical Centre.
He was a Clinical Fellow in Cardiac Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and a Clinical Fellow in Congenital Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at UC San Francisco.
Dr. Mishali is a TAU School of Medicine Senior Lecturer; he has written several articles and chapters in book publications in the medical field.
Dr. Mishali has developed an innovative, minimally invasive surgical procedure for fixing children's congenital heart defects.
