Qualification and Experience

Dr. Sameer Sudhakar Diwale is a consultant cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon for more than 23 years now. After completing his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) Dr. Sameer Sudhakar Diwale went onto complete his MS in general surgery (Master of Surgery). In addition to these, Dr. Sameer completed his MCh (CTVS) and also gained a fellowship in cardiac surgery from Australia.

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Sameer Sudhakar Diwale has a keen interest in aortic root operations, open and endovascular surgery on the aorta and hybrid procedures, minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, high-risk procedures like valve-CABG, acute ischemic mitral regurgitation repairs, and post renal transplant CABG, complex valve surgeries inclusive of single and double valve replacement or repairs, redo surgery for coronaries and valves, surgery for atrial fibrillation, and aortic surgery inclusive of aneurysm and dissection repairs. He has performed nearly 7000 heart surgeries to date and has two decades of experience in this particular field. At present, he is working as a consultant cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon in the department of cardiac surgery, Saudi German Hospital, Dubai, UAE. Prior to this, he worked at Mayo Clinic, the USA where a large number of overseas patients visited him.
