Qualification and Experience

Dr. Nischal Rajendra Pandya is a Cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with more than 8 years of experience. He studied his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. Later on, he done is MS in General surgery from B.J Medical College, Gujarat University. From the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore, he completed his M. Ch in Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery. Dr. Pandya has also passed DNB in cardiothoracic surgery. He was awarded a fellowship from Australia in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.

Dr. Nischal is presently the Consultant at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. Dr. Nischal is equally efficient in performing cardiac surgery in both adults and pediatrics. He is an expert in performing multiple pediatric redo surgeries. His area of keen interest includes neonatal and infantile cardiac surgeries. His area of specific interest is to perform surgeries on congenital cardiac abnormalities pediatric valve repairs, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support, and heart transplants. Research papers of Dr. Nischal are published in various journals of repute with high impact.
