Qualification and Experience

Dr. Manoj Luthra is the Director of Cardiac surgery at Jaypee hospitals, Noida. He has more than 25 years of experience and is one of the most eminent cardiac surgeons in the Delhi-NCR region. He is equally capable of conducting both adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries and has performed more than 12000 cardiac surgeries. After completing his MBBS, he did his MD in General Medicine and M. Ch in cardiac surgery from Armed Force Medical College. He was awarded Fellowship from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia in Coronary Artery Surgery. He has also passed DNB in general Surgery.

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Manon has received various prestigious awards such as Chief of Army Staff commendation card, in 2005 and Vishishta Seva Medal in 2010. He is likewise competent in academic skills, as he has been the examiner for M. Ch degree in various reputed universities. He was the first surgeon to conduct heart transplant surgery at Armed Force Medical College. He is capable of handling complex cases related to neonatal cardiac disorders. Dr. Manon has a keen interest in cardiac tumor surgery, heart aneurysm surgery, ASD closure for adult patients, arterial fibrillation surgery, and aortic valve repair and replacement.

• He is an examiner at the MCh examination of various renowned universities and has been a guide for 11 post-graduate students in cardiac surgery.
