Dr. Dinesh Chandra is a highly-regarded cardiac surgeon with more than 10 years of experience. He is a diligent, skillful, and well-trained cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon who holds a track record of performing more than 1000 cardiac surgeries successfully. He is a gold medalist who has a strong foundation in cardiac surgery and delivers excellent patient-centric care. At present, he is the Principal Consultant of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) at Max SuperSpecialty Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, India. He has the surgical finesse and the requisite skills to execute advanced aortic surgery and the Bentall procedure. He is also trained in the latest surgical techniques such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery.

• Dr. Dinesh Chandra is a respected pillar of the cardiac surgery community. He is a life member of the Indian Association of  Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons and the Indian Society of Thoracic Surgeons and Trust. Through his association with these bodies, he participates in educating the younger cardiac surgeons about the recent innovations and developments in the domain of cardiac surgery. 
• He also takes initiative in organizing workshops for training cardiac surgeons in new surgical techniques. Some of the workshops he has organized include the Bentall Workshop and Wet Lab(AIIMS), and the Valve Conservation workshop and Wet Lab(AIIMS, New Delhi). 
• Dr. Dinesh Chandra also shares his research findings at various conferences and seminars. He was a presenter at the 21st Annual meeting of the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (ASCVTS, 2013). 
• He has also published his original research work in many international and national research journals of repute. Some of his work includes:

1. Surgical Management of anomalous pulmonary venous connection to the superior vena cava early results in the Indian Heart Journal (2013) 
2. When should you start anticoagulation in patients who suffer an intracranial bleed and who also have a prosthetic valve published in the Interactive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Journal
