Dr. Anoop K Ganjoo

Qualification and Experience

Known for conducting complicated cardiac surgery with great ease and precision, Dr. Anoop is one of the most experienced and successful cardiac surgeons in northern India. He has more than 25 years of experience and is currently working as a cardiothoracic surgeon and cardiologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Anoop completed his MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1978. In 1983, he obtained his MS degree from AIIMS. In 1987, he completed his advanced degree in cardiology, i.e. M.Ch. in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from AIIMS. Prior to Apollo, he was also associated with St. Stephens Hospital, National Heart Institute, and Batra Hospital.  

Contribution to medical science 

Dr. Anoop is an expert in Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), Coronary artery bypass, vascular surgery, Radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmias, Peripheral and Coronary angiography & angioplasty, Balloon valvuloplasty, and left ventricle aneurysm repair. He is and respected member of the Fellow of Indian Association of Cardiovascular surgeons, Cardiological Society of India and Member of Society of Thoracic Surgeons (USA). His areas of interest are Echocardiography, Adult congenital heart disease, and Atrial fibrillation. He was awarded a fellowship in cardiac surgery from Milwaukee, USA.
