An advanced imaging technique called a cerebral angiogram is used to examine the blood arteries in the brain and neck. It helps in the diagnosis of vascular disorders such as aneurysms, blockages, and strokes. After injecting a contrast dye into the arteries, fluoroscopy, a type of X-ray imaging, produces fine-grained pictures of blood flow.
