The physical procedure of TURP involves removing the obstructing part of the prostate tissue that blocks urine flow. This surgery is performed in case the patient does not respond to medical treatment of BPH-related symptoms or in a situation where complications have arisen. The physician conducts all necessary tests before surgery and provides postoperative information.
