Cervical Corpectomy is performed to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerve roots caused by conditions such as cervical spinal stenosis, tumors, fractures, or severe degenerative changes. A cage or other reconstructive device is then placed to restore the spinal column, often with bone graft material to promote fusion.
