MRgFUS (Magnetic Resonance-Guided Focused Ultrasound) combines high-resolution MRI with focused ultrasound to deliver therapeutic energy to a targeted area while monitoring the surrounding anatomy. The procedure can produce controlled thermal effects at the treatment site without conventional surgical incisions.
