The cutting-edge vascular infrastructure of Meliva Kardiolita Hospital, Kaunas enables it to perform Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) for Single-Extremity Varicose Veins utilising a minimally invasive approach. Founded in 1998, the JCI accredited facility is based in Kaunas, Lithuania, with a capacity of 8 beds.

EVLT uses laser energy to treat varicose veins, allowing the damaged vein to close without surgical intervention. The procedure helps alleviate the condition from both physical and aesthetic perspectives, while normal blood circulation remains intact. Prior to the procedure, the leg with the varicose vein is examined using clinical and ultrasound methods. The patient is given recommendations for walking, compression, and post-procedure care.
