Dr. Sanjay completed his from B J Medical College Pune in 1988. In the year 1992, he completed an MS in general surgery from B J Medical College Pune. He completed his training in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital in 1993. He has done various research fellowships including research fellowship on Gastrointestinal Surgery, Breast and thoracic services and breast and esophagus services.
