About Dr. Nguyen Trung Nghia

Dr Nguyen Trung Nghia is a distinguished expert in the field of mental health, with extensive clinical and academic experience.
He graduated as valedictorian in Residency Psychiatry and holds a Master’s degree and a First Degree Specialist from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.
Dr Trung Nghia has completed advanced training in Psychiatry, Sleep Medicine, rTMS, and Psychological Therapies across Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Japan.
In addition to his clinical work, he serves as a visiting lecturer at the Department of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU–HCM) and Hoa Sen University, where he has trained mental health care skills for numerous companies, organisations, and universities.
Currently, he is the Deputy Director of the Mental Health Care Centre at Vinmec Times City and serves as the Psychiatry Clerkship Director at VinUni Medical School.
Dr Trung Nghia practices a cooperative therapy approach, emphasising collaboration with patients to overcome mental health challenges and achieve overall well-being.

Before that, from 2017 to 2019, Dr Nguyen Trung Nghia served as the Team Leader of Psychiatric Residents at Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital.
