FAQ's Related to Physiotherapist

A sports and orthopaedic physiotherapist treats sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, joint disorders, ligament and tendon injuries, post-surgical conditions, mobility problems, and chronic pain affecting muscles and joints.

Yes. Physiotherapy plays an important role both before and after orthopaedic surgery. Preoperative rehabilitation helps improve strength and flexibility before surgery, while postoperative rehabilitation supports faster recovery, reduces pain, restores mobility, and improves overall function.

Treatment may include manual therapy, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation, kinesiology taping, cryotherapy, electrotherapy, pressotherapy, therapeutic exercises, and individualised rehabilitation programs.

You should consider consulting a physiotherapist if you experience persistent joint or muscle pain, sports injuries, reduced mobility, difficulty performing daily activities, or if you require rehabilitation before or after orthopaedic surgery.
