• Dr. Sunit Chandra Singhi is a well regarded Paediatrician and Pediatric Intensivist with over 40 years of experience in pediatric medicine and critical care. He is currently the Head of Paediatrics at Amrita Hospital in Faridabad, and is widely considered as a pioneer of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in India.
• Dr. Singhi formerly served as the Head of the Advanced Pediatric Centre at PGIMER, Chandigarh, for over 33 years, where he had a transformative impact on the country's pediatric critical care services. He later served as Chairman of Paediatrics at Medanta - The Medicity for five years, as well as Principal and Head of Department at MM Institute of Medical Sciences in Ambala.
• He is credited with creating India's first Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and developing the country's first DM (Doctorate of Medicine) program in Pediatric Critical Care—historic contributions that have had a long-term impact on pediatric treatment and training in India.
• Dr. Singhi has also worked as a Visiting Professor at world-renowned institutions such as Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School (USA), and Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.
