  • He graduated as a doctor from Hanoi Medical University in 2000 and completed his residency at Viet Duc University Hospital from 2001 to 2004.
  • In 2012, he earned a PhD in Orthopaedic Surgery from Hanoi Medical University and was recognised as an Associate Professor in 2015 and as a Professor of Medicine in 2020.
  • Professor Dung has extensive surgical experience, having performed more than 1,000 hip replacements, over 500 knee replacements, nearly 10,000 knee arthroscopies, over 500 shoulder arthroscopies, 100 shoulder, elbow, and joint replacements, more than 1,000 arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries for carpal tunnel syndrome, and over 200 limb-sparing surgeries for bone and soft tissue cancers using advanced techniques such as megaprosthesis, allograft prosthesis composite, and PEEK prostheses.
