With more than 30 years of experience as an orthopedic consultant, Dr. Vijayaraghavan is one of the renowned orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Vijayaraghavan has completed his MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in 1976. In 1979, he obtained Diploma in Orthopedics from the University of Madras. He has also passed DNB in orthopedics conducted by the National Board of Examination. Dr. Vijayaraghavan received an advanced degree in M.CH. in orthopedics form the University of Liverpool. In 2015, he was awarded the certificate for the successful completion of the Fulbright scholarship program. He has also done a Computer-Assisted Orthopedic Surgery course from Australia.
Currently working as the Director of Academics and Senior Orthopedic Consultant at Sri Ramachandra University and Hospital, Dr. Vijayaraghavan has also provided his services to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Hospital. He was the awardee of the Best teacher. A certificate of excellence for outstanding service is also given to Dr. Vijayaraghavan. Approximately 32 scientific articles authored by Dr. Vijayaraghavan are published in various national and international journals. He is a member of the Indian Orthopedic Association, Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association and Orthopedic Association of South Indian States.
