He received his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) during that same time, as well as passing the intercollegiate test in Trauma and Orthopedics (FRCS Tr & Orth) in 2008. He completed basic research on the biological reaction to conventional and newer polyethylene used in arthroplasty as part of his orthopaedic training in the United Kingdom, and was awarded a Masters in Research from the University of Leeds in 2004. Following his appointment as a National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopedics, he completed his fellowship at the Sheffield Children's Hospital. He was exposed to the complete range and depth of the many fields of Pediatric Orthopedics throughout his Fellowship. Prior to coming to India in June 2009, he served as a Consultant In Pediatrics Orthopedics at Sheffield Children's Hospital.
