Dr. Karim Antoine Attara is a renowned professional. He graduated from Cairo University, Egypt following which he proceeded to the UK for his postgraduate training. Furthermore, he acquired a Master's Degree from Athens, Greece. Dr. Attara has more than forty years of experience. He has worked in various locations such as Europe, Kuwait, the U.A.E., and the UK including assignments in the West Middlesex Hospital, Isleworth, Yeovil, Bristol, Exeter Hospitals in the South West, and the University Teaching Hospital in Leicester.
Dr. Attara has held the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Vice Chairman of the Orthopaedic Council in Kuwait combined with teaching assignments in Orthopaedics at the Kuwait University Faculty of Medicine. Furthermore, he was also employed as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Ministry of Health.
Dr. Attara played a pivotal role in setting up the Gulf's first Scoliosis Centre in Kuwait. He has obtained Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of Edinburgh and was also elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
