  • Gynecologic disorders with infection or hormonal imbalance

How do midwives differ from OB-GYNs?

An OB-GYN is a certified physician trained to manage complicated obstetric and gynecologic conditions, perform surgery, and take care of high-risk pregnancies. Midwives typically provide routine care during a pregnancy and labour, and primarily work in low-risk settings. They are not trained to perform surgery or manage complex medical care.
