Qualification and Experience

Dr. Praharaj has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the field of neurosurgery. He is currently working as Additional Director, Neuro & Spine Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. Before joining Fortis, he was associated with various reputed institutions including AIIMS and NIMHANS Bangalore. He completed his MBBS in the year 1984 and completed his MS in General Surgery from G.R. Medical College, Gwalior India. Later, in 1991, he completed his M.Ch. in neurosurgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Science and Technology Trivandrum. Dr. Praharaj also works as a research associate in head injury for 9 months at Dept of Neurosurgery, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas under Professor Claudia Robertson.
