Dr. Murat Imer

• Dr. Murat Imer is a neurosurgeon and has an experience of more than 34 years. graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cerrahpaşa, Istanbul University between 1977 and 1983.
• He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and started specializing in Neurosurgery in 1983. Dr. Imer completed the certification process with the Turkish Council of Certification in 1991.
• He was a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, in Edirne, Turkey between March 1983 to February 1993. Dr. Imer finished his two years of compulsory service after the Trakya University period.
• He served as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Trakya University between September 1993 and January 1996. After the completion of my residency, Dr. Imer started his practice in the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery in January 1996.
• He was advanced to the position of Assoc Professor of Neurosurgery at Istanbul University in November 1999. Dr. Imer took the position of Professor of Neurosurgery at Istanbul University and worked there up to April 2011.
• He started the Neurosurgery Department at Okan University Hospital, Istanbul in December of 2016 and remained there for two years. At present, he is a Director of the Neurosurgery Department of the Florence Nightingale Hospital, Istanbul.
