About Dr. John Sutcliffe

Dr John Sutcliffe is the Lead Clinician at The London Spine Clinic.
He is the Triage Consultant and is referred all complex spinal patients for assessment and diagnosis.
He personally performs treatments, including spinal injections and blocks.
Dr Sutcliffe trained as an undergraduate in Edinburgh and won the year prize for systematic surgery.
He completed postgraduate training in Edinburgh across plastics, orthopaedics, and paediatric surgery. He later focused on neurosurgery.
In 1993, he was appointed Consultant Neurosurgeon at Barts and the London NHS Trust.
He managed the neurotrauma service of the UK’s only helicopter emergency medical service at the time, and he also managed a wide range of spinal conditions.
