Dr. Amit Srivastava is a neurosurgeon with an experience of more than 24 years. A total of about 7000 cases of trauma and critical injuries have been managed by him in more than two decades of his career.
Dr. Amit Srivastava has had his practice in some of the fine hospitals and clinics of India. These facts have turned him rigorous and proficient enough to handle the intricacies of neurosurgery.
He possesses exemplary skills in performing operations on spine and brain tumors. As of now, he is the director of a trained and specialized Neurosurgical Institute and the Senior Consultant of the Neurosurgery Unit of Aakash Healthcare Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi.
After the successful completion of his academic study, Dr.Amit Srivastava is still more active in serving better services to his patients. He completed his MBBS from the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University in the year of 1998.
As much a zeal he had for surgical sciences, he planned to do his MS in General Surgery from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
For a more focused understanding of neurology, he went further and pursued a master of Chiropractic degree in Neurosurgery at the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi India.
In all these years, he has acquired relevant skills applicable to different neurosurgical operations.
He can do Neuronavigation surgery which helps to identify and remove tumors in the brain.
He has also had training in endoscopic surgery for epilepsy, spine surgery, stereotactic, minimally invasive tumor surgery, spasticity, and transnasal endoscopic surgery for head and accidental injury and trauma cases.
