  • Dr. Yuelin is currently the Chief Physician and Vice Director of the Nanfang-Chunfu Children's Institute of Hematology & Oncology. She has over 30 years of practical and educational experience working with pediatric hematological tumors, as well as providing HSCTs for children.
  • Dr. Yuelin has been recognised by her peers both nationally and internationally, and she has performed more than 1,000 allogeneic HSCTs for children. Her contributions to pediatric transplantation have been instrumental in developing new techniques in both China and worldwide.

Blood cancers can be diagnosed through a combination of Blood Tests, BMS, Immunophenotyping, Cytogenetic and/or Molecular Tests, and Imaging Tests. Diagnosis involves determining the Type of Disease and its stage.

Haematologists-oncologists can offer patients treatment options that may include: a combination of Chemotherapy, Targeted Therapies, immunotherapies, CAR-T Cell therapies, Stem Cell Transplants, and Supportive Care.

No, Hemato-Oncologists do not perform Stem Cell Transplant Procedures. However, Haematologists/Oncologists are responsible for assessing the Patient’s Medical History and Readiness to undergo a Stem Cell Transplant, and for managing all aspects of pre- and post-stem cell transplant to support long-term Recovery and optimal results.
