With an MSc and MD, Dinh Thi Hien Le is a distinguished obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 38 years of practice in reproductive medicine and fetal surgery.
She is a trailblazer in fetal medicine in Vietnam and was the first person in the country to perform laparoscopic laser surgery for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, performing more than 300 successful operations and delivering hundreds of babies.
Dr. Hien Le is also internationally recognized for conducting the first-ever successful conservative surgery for uterine rupture in the 18th week of pregnancy, showcasing her outstanding surgical skill and innovation in maternal care throughout her career.
