Dr. Pooja has completed her MBBS from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak in the year 1999 Later in 2004, she completed MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. She also passed her DNB in the year 2005 in Obstetrics & Gynecology conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. She had undergone endoscopy training at CICE, France.
