Dr. Yildiray Yuzer

• In 1984, Prof. Yıldıray Yuzer, M.D. completed his residency in the Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ege University.
• Between 1988 and 1993, he worked as the Head Assistant of General Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, having served his mandatory time at Izmir Menemen State Hospital from 1986 to 1988.
• He became a member of Group Florence Nightingale in 2004 and has since performed over 4500 liver transplants, the majority of which were alive and healthy donors.
• He uses unique surgical methods to extract donor organs. He is particularly interested in liver transplantation for children.
• In 1993, he carried out research at the USA Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Since 2004, Prof. Yıldıray Yuzer has been the head of the liver transplant center at Florence Nightingale Hospital and has performed approximately 1500 liver transplants.
