Dr. Cengiz Dibekoglu

• Dr. Cengiz Dibekoglu was born in 1967. He completed his primary education in Istanbul and then went on to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1984 after graduating from Pertevniyal High School.
• He received medical education in English and graduated in 1991 and started his residency at the general surgery department of Istanbul Medical Faculty in the same year. He graduated with the experimental thesis, ’Consequences of Inhibition of the Nitric Oxide Pathway in Radiation Enteritis’ to emerge as a general surgeon in 1996.
• During the same year, Dr. Cengiz Dibekoğlu started practicing at Sişli Florence Nightingale Hospital as a staff general surgeon. Between 2002-2004, he was actively working as vice president of the general surgery department and also an instructor at Kadir Has University.
• Dr. Cengiz started working as a staff physician in the general surgery division at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2013. He still serves in the Florence Nightingale Hospital to date.
• This operation, the first general surgery with the Da Vinci Robot in our nation, was completed by Dr. Cengiz Dibekoğlu. He still carries out a mechanistic and complex technique in surgery, especially in this area, since he specializes in robot laparoscopic surgeries.
