Dr. Şencan Acar has established a distinguished career in internal medicine and gastroenterology, excelling both in academia and clinical practice.
She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed her residency in internal medicine at Haseki Training and Research Hospital in 2010.
In 2021, Dr. Acar pursued additional specialization in gastroenterology at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine, enhancing her expertise in this specialized field.
Her career has been marked by significant academic appointments, including roles as Assistant Professor at Istanbul Bilim University Faculty of Medicine and Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Medicine.
Currently, she serves as the Head of the Department at Giresun University Faculty of Medicine, where she continues to contribute to medical education and patient care with dedication and expertise.
