Dr. Amit Mittal is a modern gastroenterologist in India He gained 20 years of experience in this sphere. He is a professional, board-certified, and has many years of experience in the management of all forms of gastrointestinal disorders inclusive of pancreatitis, fatty liver disease, ulcerative colitis, GI cancers, GI ulcers, etc.
In his career, he has performed more than 10,000 successful GI endoscopies. He is currently the Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at Sanar International Hospitals in Gurgaon, India. Before joining Sanar Hospital, he worked in some of the biggest and most well-known hospitals in India, including Fortis Hospital, PSRI Hospital, Delhi, and Paras Hospital, Gurgaon.
Dr. Mittal has established himself and has a long list of experience and achievements. MBBS was from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, Karnataka. He then did his DNB in General Medicine from St.Stephen’s Hospital situated in New Delhi.
To gain knowledge and skills in the subject of gastroenterology the doctor studied DNB in Gastroenterology at the PSRI Hospital in Delhi.
He is a renowned specialist in GI endoscopy. He is also competent in colonoscopy, liver biopsy, ERCP, EUS, Sengstaken Blackmore tube insertion, paracentesis, central venous access, thoracocentesis, and intubation mechanical ventilation.
