Dr. Fatih Tunca

• Dr. Fatih Tunca graduated from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and received a medical doctor degree. He then undertook further training in General surgery in the same college and clinched the degree in May 2005.
• Later on, in 1999 after the specialization, Prof. Dr. Tunca served five years in the Department of General Surgery of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine as a specialist physician. In April 2010 he joined as an Associate Professor in General Surgery at Istanbul University. He was promoted to Professor in August 2016 and keeps practicing clinically as well as undertaking academic practice in the same department.
• The principal areas of concern of Prof. Dr. Fatih Tunca are Endocrine Surgery and Endoscopic Surgery for which he has gained profound experience over the years.
• He completed his medical school education at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and then acquired his specialization in General Surgery in 2005 at the same university. In 2010 he joined the faculty of Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine where he was promoted to Associate Professor in General Surgery.
• He was further promoted to a Professor position in 2016, and he has been practicing clinical and academic medicine at the university.
