Approval Process
- Submit the form and wait for approval (usually 3-5 days).
- An approved e-Visa and an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) are emailed to you. Print and carry it.
- Some applicants may be called for a short embassy/consulate interview.
Applicants must hold a valid Iraqi passport. A passport must have at least six months of validity from the date of arrival in India. Travellers must have a return ticket or confirmed onward travel from Iraq to India. Sufficient financial resources must be available to cover stay expenses. Applicant must not hold a Pakistani passport or be of Pakistani origin, as special visa rules apply. Must comply with India’s security and immigration regulations, with no travel bans or legal restrictions from Iraq.The Medical e-Visa is valid for 60, 90, or 180 days. Validity begins from the date of e-Visa issuance, not the arrival date in India. Overstaying beyond the visa validity is subject to penalties.
