Required Documents

  • A valid passport (with more than 6 months remaining before expiry) and two blank pages are required for travellers from Azerbaijan to India.
  • Applicants from Azerbaijan to India must submit a recent passport photo and a correctly filled-out online visa form.
  • A hospital invitation letter and medical reports are needed for those seeking treatment from Azerbaijan to India.
  • Applicants travelling from Azerbaijan to India must provide proof of funds and proof of residence.
  • A return flight itinerary is necessary for travel plans.
  • Attendants from Azerbaijan to India must also submit a passport copy and proof of residence.

  • Fill the form, upload documents (photos and passport copy), and pay the visa fee online.

Approval Process

  • Submit the form and wait for approval (usually 3-5 days).
  • An approved e-Visa is emailed to you. Print and carry it
  • Some applicants may be called for a short embassy/consulate interview.
  • Applicants must hold a valid Azerbaijan passport. Only ordinary passport holders can apply for an e-visa.
  • A passport must have at least six months of validity from the date of arrival in India.
  • Travellers must have a return ticket or confirmed onward travel from Azerbaijan to India.
  • Sufficient financial resources must be available to cover stay expenses.
  • Must comply with India’s security and immigration regulations, with no travel bans or legal restrictions from Azerbaijan.
  • An Azerbaijani citizen's Passport must be an Ordinary or Regular passport. A Diplomatic Passport is not allowed.
  • Azerbaijani citizens should submit the eVisa application at least 4 days before travelling to India.
  • Medical e-Visa is valid for 60 days with a triple-entry allowance.
  • Validity begins from the date of e-Visa issuance, not the arrival date in India.
  • Overstaying beyond the visa validity is subject to penalties. Duration of stay per entry varies.
  • A valid passport (minimum 6 months' validity), passport-size photos, and a residence permit for expatriates.
  • Medical invitation letter from the Indian hospital, along with recent medical reports and treatment estimate.
  • Referral letter from the treating doctor in the resident country (recommended).
  • Travel documents, including a return flight booking, proof of accommodation, and a completed travel itinerary, issued by Azerbaijan.
  • Completed Medical Visa application with digital photo, passport scan, and e-visa fee receipt.
  • Financial documents such as 3–6 months' bank statements, plus supporting documents such as an employer's letter, insurance, or a vaccination certificate, if required, issued from Azerbaijan.
