Larynx Cancer Treatment aims to control the cancer while preserving breathing, swallowing, and voice function whenever clinically possible. Small or early tumors may be managed with localized surgery or radiation, while more extensive disease may require removal of part or all of the larynx. Additional treatment may be recommended based on the risk of recurrence or spread.
