Balloon Valvuloplasty is a minimally invasive procedure used to widen a narrowed heart valve and improve blood flow. It may be performed for selected patients with conditions such as pulmonary, mitral, or aortic valve stenosis, depending on valve anatomy and clinical factors. During the procedure, a catheter carrying a balloon is guided to the affected valve and inflated to enlarge the narrowed opening. Echocardiography and other cardiac assessments are generally performed before treatment to determine suitability.
