Cerebral Angiogram provides detailed images of the arteries and veins within and around the brain. During the examination, a catheter is guided through the vascular system to the target blood vessels, followed by injection of an iodinated contrast agent. X-ray imaging captures the movement of the contrast through the vessels. It may be used to investigate suspected aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, vessel narrowing, or other abnormalities when detailed vascular information is required.
