At Clinique Averroes, we have state-of-the-art urology infrastructure that includes the option of Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) for patients with serious urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate. The JCI accredited hospital was established in 1975 and is located in Marrakesh, Morocco, with 48 beds.

The physical procedure of TURP involves the removal of the obstructing part of the prostate tissue blocking the urine. This surgery is performed in case the patient does not respond to medical treatment of BPH-related symptoms or in a situation where complications have arisen. The physician conducts all necessary tests before surgery and provides postoperative information.
