Dr. Geeta Baruah is a well-known gynecologist, obstetrician, infertility specialist and laparoscopic surgeon in the Delhi NCR region. She has an experience of more than 25 years. She is currently providing her services at Artemis Hospital Gurugram as Chief of Gynecology and obstetrics. She completed her MBBS from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh in the year 1986. Later in 1991, she completed her DGO in obstetrics and gynecology from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh. She is the recipient of various awards, the notable being Bharat Jyoti Award, Bhartiya Chikitsak Ratna Award, International Medical Excellence Award, Indira Gandhi Women Achiever Award, and Rajiv Gandhi Achiever Award. She is active in spreading awareness throughout the country about the prevention of gynecological cancer. She is also associated with Voluntary Health Associates of India, New Delhi as a national trainer for health workers. She was also associated with Obstetrician & Gynecology quarterly magazine as a member of the editorial board.
